Had a great Christmas stay at this hostel! Loved the stylish design and friendly staff. The bar area was lively and fun, with reasonably priced drinks and snacks. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation and key attractions. The hostel was also clean and had a discount for advance payment, which was a bonus.

There were a few downsides. The shared bathrooms had semi-transparent shower doors, which made for awkward moments.

generator venice was a refreshing change from my previous stay in venice. the location on giudecca offered stunning views and fresh air, away from the main island. the lobby had a charming boutique hotel style and the staff were friendly and helpful. i would highly recommend it, especially for those looking for affordable and quality bed sheets and blankets.

breakfast buffet could be improved

The staff went above and beyond, helping me with a delivery issue during my stay. The hostel's view of the island was stunning, and I felt glad to have chosen it. The bar and lounge area had great happy hour specials and convenient vending machines. The design was cool and the downstairs area was comfy, with good food options.

The hostel is located on an island near the main part of the city, and although you have to take a boat to get there, the transport is easily accessible with stops just a few meters away. the lobby area is cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating and a friendly atmosphere. the staff are accommodating and helpful, providing information and assistance whenever needed. the rooms have good facilities including lockers, lamps, and sockets for each bed. the hostel offers a good Wi-Fi connection throughout the premises.

Some of the shared bathroom facilities lack secure locks and a place to keep clothes dry.

it was a great find! easy commute from train station, beautiful view, comfortable room, and yummy breakfast. staff was nice and helpful, and the 24/7 reception was convenient. location was outside center but ferry service was regular. beds were comfy, lockers provided, and air-conditioning was a blessing.

Not enough plugs for charging.

I stayed at Generator in Venice for a few days. The common areas were clean and beautifully decorated. The bar offered food options and affordable breakfast deals. The location was perfect, away from the touristy areas but still with a stunning view. It was only a short boat ride from the main attractions and the train station. The staff were friendly and the hostel had a home-like feel. The efforts made to minimize noise between residents were appreciated. I would definitely consider returning.

I recently stayed at Generator in Venice for a weekend getaway. The hostel provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were cozy and the linens were of high quality. The communal area was a great place to socialize indoors, and the location was perfect, just a short walk from San Marco and close to the Vaparetto. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making my experience even better. a fantastic hostel for a memorable trip.
